Saint Catherine’s 7th grade Extreme Thinking Class has won Honorable Mention in the New Jersey State Bar Foundation's 2013 Law Adventure mock trial competition. SCS students and their teacher Mrs. Michelle Cicchetti were asked to create and write an original case focusing on legal issues of interest to their contemporaries and which could be used as a tool to teach about the law. Saint Catherine’s Law Adventure participants in grade 7 were one of only four schools, out of public and private participants from all over the state, asked to present their winning case live before judges, attorneys and juries of their peers - other elementary and middle school students- at the home of the Bar Foundation, the New Jersey Law Center in New Brunswick, New Jersey.
