For Christmas, seventh grade students crafted stockings for the poor which were later stuffed with donated toys. Teacher Mrs. Carol Scalo started the tradition over eleven years ago, encouraging her students to help make Christmas a little brighter for someone less fortunate. The stockings are sent to the Religious Education programs at the Cathedral Basilica, St. Patrick’s Pro Cathedral and St. Rose of Lima parish in Newark.
