Congratulations to Katrina (grade 8)
and Jakob (grade 6) F., both earned
High Honors on the 2014 Johns
Hopkins Talent Search testing.
More than 38,000 outstanding
students from the U.S. and
abroad take this above-grade-level
test. From this select group,
less than thirty percent of the
students who enter the Talent
Search achieve test scores at
this level. Jakob who presently
is in the 6th Grade, scored in
the 95th percentile in Verbal
Ability compared to 8th graders.
Katrina, who presently is in the
8th Grade, scored in the 99th
percentile in Verbal ability and
96th percentile in Math ability
compared to 12th graders.

Both Katrina and Jakob will
receive High Honor awards at the
state level in the Spring. Katrina’s
scores, which were in the top 3%
in the world, was also acknowledged
at the Grand Ceremony, which took
place at the Johns Hopkins University
campus in Maryland on October 19,
2014. This is the second consecutive
year Katrina has received the Grand
Ceremony invitation.

Saint Catherine of Siena School is fully accredited by the State of New Jersey, the Archdiocese of Newark and the Middle States Commission on Elementary Education. Saint Catherine's is also a member of the National Catholic Educational Association.
