Saint Catherine's presents TREP$ Marketplace on April 12!
What happens when you take today’s kids and challenge them to become business people for a day? Come shop at the TREP$ MARKETPLACE to be amazed by 40+ tables of innovative products and services – all developed, marketed and sold by young entrepreneurs ages 10-14.
Saint Catherine of Siena School will hold its TREP$ Marketplace on Friday, April 12, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. in Siena Hall.
TREP$ is a presidential award winning program which teaches children the skills to become young enTREPreneur$. St. Catherine's program began this year with an enthusiastic kick-off enjoyed by students in grades five through eight. Children were then given the opportunity to enroll in a series of six after school workshops where they received instruction and were guided through various creative exercises to understand the ready skills of entrepreneurship, as well as team dynamics.
During this six-week period, the children researched and developed the products or services they will sell or promote at the TREP$ Marketplace.
The event is free and open to the public. The entire community is invited to come and see what happens when you give children the creative outlet and responsibility that comes with starting a business venture.
