This coming school year Saint Catherine of Siena School’s Technology program will be integrating Google Apps for Education to all school faculty and students. The Apps for Education program will further enrich learning for students by providing a variety of new opportunities for group collaboration and enhanced communication and presentations.
Our school Technology Lab is currently home to 30 new HP computers. Our wireless network will continue to provide all classrooms with strong and fast wireless capability. Each classroom has 3 student computers in the classroom along with a dedicated computer for the wireless Mimio Xis interactive boards mounted in each classroom. There are also 2 mo-bile Smartboards which are rotated where needed. All teachers have access to laptops for parent communication and lesson planning and 26 mobile netbook Computers and 7 ipads for use in their classrooms.
