Second Grade Quilts

The second graders created a family tradition patchwork quilt. They engaged in the writing process and published paragrahs on a wrapping paper patchwork quilt. Some of the tradtions included cutting down Christmas trees, reciting Saint Andrews novena prayer, and eating Christmas Eve dinner consisting of seven fishes.

An apple a day keeps the doctor away! The second grade read Johnny Appleseed and discussed tall tales,made venn diagrams, drew the Apple life cycle, wrote alliterations solved Apple math word problems, and created Apple acrostics for the poet tree.
